<p>I am very busy with work, not much time left but I had to come here to give you another special recipe.<br />
I love sweet and sour and I hope you do also.<br />
This is a great recipe and very easy to do. It is not mine I have to say, a friend got this from a cooking website. Although, I can say I&#8217;ve tried it and it is very good.<br />
Who said salad is not good?</p>

<p>Roquefort Salad<br />
6 portions</p>
<p><img alt="" src="http://images.media-allrecipes.com/site/allrecipes/area/community/userphoto/big/49064.jpg" class="aligncenter" width="250" height="250" /></p>
<p>Ingredients</p>
<p>1 head leaf lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces<br />
3 medium pears &#8211; peeled, cored and chopped<br />
250g Roquefort cheese, crumbled<br />
1 avocado &#8211; peeled, pitted, and diced<br />
50g thinly sliced spring onions</p>
<p>1/4 cup of white sugar<br />
30g pecans</p>
<p>15ml olive oil<br />
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar<br />
1 1/2 teaspoons white sugar<br />
1 1/2 teaspoons mustard<br />
1 clove garlic, chopped<br />
1/2 teaspoon salt<br />
fresh ground black pepper to taste</p>
<p>In a skillet over medium heat, stir 1/4 cup of sugar together with the pecans. Continue stirring gently until sugar has melted and caramelized the pecans. Carefully transfer nuts onto waxed paper. Allow to cool, and break into pieces. </p>
<p>For the dressing, blend oil, vinegar, 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar, mustard, chopped garlic, salt, and pepper. </p>
<p>In a large serving bowl, layer lettuce, pears, blue cheese, avocado, and spring onions. Pour dressing over salad, sprinkle with pecans, and serve. </p>

<p>Outro que eu sou fã é o chef Heston Blumenthal, chef do Fat Duck, um restaurante super interessante na Inglaterra. Eu aprendi essa receita com ele.<br />

<p>Mousse de Chocolate Dr This</p>
<p>270ml água<br />
350g chocolate (misture chocolate amargo com ao leite, depende do seu gosto e do chocolate usado)</p>
<p>Traga a água a ponto de fervura e adicione o chocolate e derreta-o.<br />
Prepare um bowl sobre gelo.<br />
Retire a mistura do fogo e coloque no bowl, mexa com batedor de ovos sobre o gelo ate a consistência de mousse. Se precisar enquanto bater retire de cima do gelo para não ficar muito frio.<br />
Adicione essências de pimenta, menta, baunilha, etc, para dar um gosto especial.</p>

<p><em>Dr This Chocolate Mousse </em></p>
<p><em>270ml water<br />
350g chocolate (mix dark chocolate with milk chocolate, depends on your taste and the quality of the chocolate)</em></p>
<p><em>Bring the water to boil and then add the chocolate and melt it.<br />
Prepare a bowl on top of ice.<br />
Remove the mixture from heat and place it in bowl, whisk it until the consistency of mousse. If you need remove it from the ice while whisking it, so it doesn&#8217;t get too cold.</em><br />
<em>You can add flavours such as chilli, mint, vanilla, etc, to make it especial.</em></p>

<em>Where do we get this idea that eating is bad? Food can only be good! Good food right?</em></p>
<p>Comer é bom, da prazer, ajuda as crianças a crescerem, os doentes a ficarem bons. Ajuda: no trabalho, em casa, no romance, na pobreza, na riqueza. Comida só ajuda!<br />
<em>Eating is good, it gives us pleasure, it helps children to grow up, patients to feel better. It helps: in the workplace, at home, romance, poverty, wealth. Food always helps!</em></p>
<p>E o melhor ainda é quando comemos o que queremos. Ah.. o desejo!! Esse eu confesso que sinto mais do que devia. (risos)<br />
<em>And even better is when we eat what we want. Oh.. desire! I confess I feel more desire to food than I should.</em> (lol)</p>
<p>Mas pra mim não existe nada melhor do que comida caseira, daquelas que ti faz lembrar da época em que não tinha preocupações na cabeça.<br />
<em>But for me there is nothing better than home cooking, the kind of food that makes you remember the time when you had no worries.</em></p>
<p>As comidas da infância são essenciais e marcam a vida de qualquer um. É a fase que descobrimos sabores. Eu lembro dos dias que passava na cozinha, ajudando minha mãe a fazer bolachas, massas e bolos. Ai que tempo bom.<br />
<em>The food we eat when kids is essential and influence our life. It&#8217;s the time when we find new flavours. I remember the days I spent in the kitchen helping my mum, making biscuits, pasta and cakes. Oh what a great time.</em></p>
<p>Mas na verdade, a comida tem que ser apreciada, como arte. Afinal cada prato é uma obra prima. Só quando respeitamos a comida pelo valor que tem é que entendemos que &#8220;Comer Faz Bem&#8221;.<br />
<em>But actually, food has to be appreciated like art. After all, each dish is a masterpiece. Only when we respect and understand the value it has that we can understand that &#8220;Eating is Good for You&#8221;.</em></p>

<p>Deixo aqui uma sugestão de uma receita bem simples mas com um sabor divino. Espero que gostem e por favor não esqueçam de deixar seus comentários.<br />

<p><strong>Atum com salsa de manga</strong></p>
<p>2 filés de atum<br />
sal<br />
pimenta do reino<br />
azeite de oliva</p>
<p>Salsa:</p>
<p>1 manga<br />
1 cebola roxa pequena<br />
1/2 pimentão verde<br />
1 tomate (sem casca, sem sementes)<br />
1 colher chá suco de limão<br />
pimenta chilli fresca e salsinha (a gosto)</p>
<p>Bata 1/4 da manga usando um mixer para que vire uma pasta.<br />
Corte o resto da manga, tomate, cebola, pimentão e chilli em cubinhos.<br />
Misture tudo e adicione o suco de limão e salsinha picada.</p>
<p>Em uma frigideira antiaderente bem quente adicione o azeite e grelhe os filés de atum temperados com sal e pimenta do reino.<br />
Dois a três minutos +ou- de cada lado, dependendo da grossura do filé.<br />
O atum deve ficar vermelho dentro, so a parte de fora cozida.</p>
<p>Agora é só servir. Com uma saladinha fica ótimo!<em><strong> </strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Tuna with Mango Salsa</strong></em></p>
<p><em>2 tuna filets<br />
olive oil<br />
salt and pepper</em></p>
<p><em>salsa:<br />
1 mango<br />
1 small red onion<br />
1/2 green pepper<br />
1 tomato (peeled, no seeds)<br />
1 ts lemon juice<br />
fresh chilli pepper and parsley (to taste)</em></p>
<p><em>Make a paste with 1/4 of the mango, use a mixer.<br />
Chopp the rest of the mango, tomato, onion and chilli into small cubes.<br />
Mix everything and then add the lemon juice and chopped parsley.</em></p>
<p><em>Add the olive to a very hot nonstick fryer and use it to grill the seasoned tuna filets.<br />
Two to three minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the filet.<br />
The tuna should be red inside, only the outside should be cooked.</em></p>
<p><em>Now you can serve it. It&#8217;s great with some salad!<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Toda vez que eu leio um texto de alguém descrevendo a paixão de sua vida eu acho que eles são meio loucos.<br />
<em>Everytime I read someone describing their life passion I think they are a little crazy.</em></p>
<p>Não sei se é porque as vezes usavam palavras que eu não entendo (risos) ou se é porque tentam ser muito românticos, literários e complicados.<br />
<em>I don&#8217;t know if it&#8217;s because sometimes they use words that I don&#8217;t understand (lol) or if it&#8217;s because they try to be very romantic, smart and complicated.</em></p>
<p>De repente é porque eu não tenho só uma paixão em minha vida. Sou uma mulher de vários amores.<br />
<em>Maybe it&#8217;s because I don&#8217;t have only one passion in my life. I am a woman of many passions.</em></p>
<p>Amor pela comida, pelas flores, pelas series de televisão, pela minha família, por viajar, por ficar em casa, pelas diferenças e ai vai.<br />
<em>I love food, flowers, tv shows, my family, traveling, staying home, difference in things and it goes on.</em></p>
<p>De repente é porque sou mais sincera, ou não (risos).<br />

<p>Bom, eu só queria começar esse blog dividindo uma de minhas paixões: Petit Gateau (como conhecido no Brasil) ou Fondant Cake (como conhecido na Europa).<br />
<em>Well, I want to start this blog by sharing with you one of my passions: Petit Gateau (as known in Brazil) or Fondant Cake (as known in Europe).</em></p>
<p>Essa paixão é muito fácil de descrever, anexo aqui a receita!! (risos)<br />

<p><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>Petit Gateau Chocolate</strong></span></p>
<p>Ingredientes:<br />
125g chocolate amargo<br />
5 gemas (passadas pela peneira)<br />
2,5 clara<br />
75g acucar<br />
50g farinha de trigo<br />
125g manteiga sem sal</p>
<p>Para as forminhas:<br />
manteiga<br />
cacau em po</p>
<p>Metodo:<br />
Pre aqueca o forno a 180C.<br />
Derreta o chocolate em banho-maria, deixe de lado.<br />
Em uma tijela misture as gemas, claras e acucar.<br />
Derr&#8230;eta ou amacie separamente a manteiga e adicione a mistura anterior.<br />
Adicione a farinha de trigo. Misture bem.<br />
Depois adicione o chocolate derretido.</p>
<p>Unte as forminhas com manteiga derretida, use um pincel. Coloque na geladeira por 2 minutos e depois unte novamente e espalhe um pouco de cacau em po.</p>
<p>Preencha as forminhas com a mistura deixando 1 a 2 cm no topo.</p>
<p>Cozinhe por +ou- 12 min.</p>
<p><em>English version:</em></p>
<p><em><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>Fondant Cake (chocolate melt)</strong></span></em></p>
<p><em>Ingredients:<br />
125g dark chocolate<br />
5 egg yolks (passed into a sift)<br />
2,5 egg whites<br />
75g sugar<br />
50g plain flour<br />
125g unsalted butter</em></p>
<p><em>For the moulds:<br />
butter<br />
cocoa powder</em></p>
<p><em>Pre-heat the oven 180 C.<br />
Melt the chocolate in bain marie and leave it aside.<br />
In a bowl mix the egg yolks, egg whites and sugar.<br />
Melt or soft the butter separately and add it to the mix.<br />
Add the flour. Mix it well.<br />
Then add the melted chocolate.</em></p>
<p><em>Put melted butter in the moulds, using a brush. Leave it for 2 minutes in the fridge and then do it again. Spread a bit of cocoa powder.</em></p>
<p><em>Fill the moulds with the mix but leave 1 to 2 cm on the top.</em></p>
<p><em>Cook for more or less 12 min.</em></p>

<p>Criei este blog para dividir o meu amor pela culinária.<br />

<p>Desde de pequenina sempre amei a cozinha, entre todos os cómodos da casa, a cozinha era o que mais me encantava.<br />
<em>Since little I always loved the kitchen, between all the rooms of my home, the kitchen was the most attractive to me.</em></p>
<p>Meus amigos engraçados diziam que eu ia ser uma ótima dona de casa <img src='http://s2.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /><br />

<p>Com o tempo eu resolvi transformar essa paixão em algo concreto.<br />
<em>Eventually, I decided to turn that passion into something real.</em></p>
<p>Comecei um curso de Gastronomia na UNESA, que acabei não terminando, mas vim para a Europa e fiz um curso de 1 ano no famoso Le Cordon Bleu. AMEI!<br />
<em>I started a course in gastronomy at UNESA, which I didn&#8217;t finish, but I came to Europe and did a course of 1 year in the famous Le Cordon Bleu. LOVED IT!</em></p>
<p>Aprendi tanto, sobre tudo! Técnicas, ingredientes, receitas e até como é pesado o trabalho na cozinha.<br />
<em>I learned so much about everything! Techniques, ingredients, recipes and even how hard the work in the kitchen is.</em></p>
<p>Mas também fiz amigos, descobri novos sabores e percebi, que realmente, uma das melhores coisas dessa vida é cozinhar com amor.<br />
<em>But I also made friends, discovered new flavours and realized that, one of the best things in life is to cook with love.</em></p>
<p>Vou estar atualizando esse blog sempre com receitas, noticias e dicas de restaurantes no mundo inteiro.<br />
<em>I&#8217;ll be updating this blog always with new recipes, news and tips on restaurants of the world.</em></p>
